From some point, after years of using gimp, I found out that it has a strange bug when trying to drag a new guide from the ruler or an existing guide from a previously saved file.

RP Recreate Slugs Plugin has been updated to version 1.1 (a bugfix relese to fix some error reporting).
The plugin creates a widget to display a nice horizontal newsticker which can be placed in a sidebar (now with advanced options). Tested in Wordpress 3.0 – 3.0.1, expected to be compatible from 2.6+. Demo in action: http://chernivtsi.ws (in Ukrainian).
