Skype is Down Again [Updated: how to fix]

SKYPE.COM — Skype service is down because of an unknown reason. It is impossible to log in and to access *.skype.com in a browser.  Skype team says through twitter:

Some of you may have problems signing in to Skype and making calls. We’re investigating and hope to have more details to share soon.

Fixing the problem:

mv ~/.Skype/shared.xml ~/

Restart skype.
